Sean's Imagination

A Personal Experience By Sean

I am now 13 and this experience happened to me when I was about 11. I was sat down in my room, on my laptop reading some of these stories, when I heard stones bang on my window. I thought nothing of it at first because they were only small stones, and I thought it was my sister prating about. Suddenly, a huge stone about the size of a deodorant lid came crashing through my window. I got up to check who threw it. I opened my window and what looked like a boy, about the age of 8, walked up to my fence as if he was about to jump over it.

I opened my window and shouted “why did you do that?!”. the second he turned around, I felt like a hand had pushed me back onto my bed. I didn’t see him that clearly, but I can remember seeing his forehead covered with blood and stitches, and his eyes pure black.

I was so freaked out, that I ran downstairs to get my dad. I told him and that’s when he told me it was my ‘imagination’. as soon as those words left his mouth, I was just so shocked. Not because of him saying that, but because I could see the same boy looking through the patio doors, pointing and laughing at me.

2 months later, my mum and dad decided I was old enough to be left alone in the house. They aloud me to have 2 friends over, so I invited my friends, Drew and Lauren. Drew has always been in to ghosts, like me, and Lauren isn’t very keen on them. We decided to do truth or dare after about 20 minutes of being alone in the house. Drew dared Lauren to do bloody Mary, but nothing happened. Then it was my turn. I did a dare, and my dare was to go into my basement for 10 minutes. Since I wasn’t scared of my basement, (unlike Lauren) I went down and as soon as I got in there, in the far corner, was what seemed to be a person crouched down, crying. I turned round to get Drew and Lauren, when the door slammed shut!!

I shouted them to stop fooling about, but no reply. I decided to be brave, and ask the strange person what was up with them. They suddenly looked up at me, and I fell to my knees. Pitch black eyes, blood all over it, stitches, and no mouth or nose. I was never so scared in my life, I instantly starting crying. I closed my eyes and covered my ears. I opened 1 eye, and Drew was stood in front of me. He and Lauren helped me up, and took me back into the living room. I told them what I saw, and even what happened 2 months ago. They said the same thing, it was my ‘imagination’. What happened then was I saw both the boy and ‘beast’ in the mirror, pointing at me, laughing.

Every time I hear the word ‘imagination’ now, I always hear deep laughing in my head. We still live in the same house, but instead of seeing just them, I can see others along with them sometimes. And I know its not my ’imagination’.
