The Haunted Caltowie Hotel

The following photo was sent to us by Daniel via email. He writes:

This photo was taken at my uncle's Christmas party at the Caltowie Hotel in Southern Australia. His boss took many photos that day and this is the only abnormal photo.

In the early 1900's there was a big riot and many people in town died. Ever since the riot, the hotel had many reports of hauntings by the spirits of those that died in the riots. Paranormal investigators made their best attempt of getting rid of the unwanted spirits but in the 1980's the hotel still seemed to be haunted by one spirit in particular: the ghost of a little girl.

This little girl lived in the same building that is now the hotel in the early 1900's. She was abused by her father, and was repeatedly locked under the staircase in the basement while her he got drunk at the local pubs.

To this day, visitors of the hotel report that they can hear the sound of a little girl crying. Some even claim to have seen the ghost of a little girl sitting on the very same staircase.
