This strange photo was submitted by Ketil via email. He writes:
Me and my girlfriend were walking the dog when I decided to take my Nikon D300 camera Nikon D300 with me to practice some night shots. This picture was taken on April 27 2010 at 21:45 with an exposure time of 20 seconds and F14.
The picture has not been tampered with and is sent to you directly as is from the camera. You'll find that the EXIF data and GPS coordinates are still completely intact.
The strange "object" in the picture was discovered randomly by my girlfriend when we came home. I can also say that we walked around that area without seeing anyone.
The picture was taken in Stavanger, Norway. Can you explain this "thing"? It's behind a tree on the right side of the picture.
Editor's note: Due to size limitations, the full resolution photo was not published. However, we did verify that all the EXIF and GPS data mentioned in Ketil's email was intact.
