Little Girl

child ghost picture
Wem Town Hall in Shropshire in England was built in the early 1900's but sadly in 1995 there was a fire and the building was burned to the ground. One of the people from the town grabbed his camera and took pictures of the historical event that was taking place in front of him. When he looked at the pictures later he clearly saw an image of the a little girl standing in a door way of the burning building. The heat from the fire would have made it too warm for an living child to be in the property. In his search to find out who the girl in his ghost picture might be the photographer discovered that in 1677 a large portion of Shropshire had been destroyed by fire when a blaze was sparked off in the timber houses of the time. According to legend a little girl called Jane Churm was thought to have been the person that started the fire when her candle set a thatched roof on fire. It is now thought by many that it the ghost of Jane Churm that appears on this ghost picture.
